As of now, Eurostar already has a route that connects the two major cities but the passengers traveling have to make a stop at Brussels where they have to get their passports checked again and have to undergo a security check.

They understood this recheck is a problem and not very convenient and comfortable for the passengers so Eurostar has rerouted and from 1 of April there will be a direct flight from London to Amsterdam and from the 18th of May, there will be direct flights from London to Rotterdam as well.

Mike Cooper, the chief of Eurostar said: “We were a little skeptical but our service from the UK to the Netherlands is having great response with over half a million traveled on the route ever since we have launched it.”

“Our new direct service of the highest speed rail will provide comfort to the passengers on both leisure and business trips on this extremely busy route.

The rail is also a great eco-friendly alternative to flights and is a little economical too.”

He also added “The air market is great of 4.3 million. It is the same number that it was for Paris in 1994 when we first started in Paris. Now you can look at the market and how busy Paris is at all times of the year.

We are expecting similar results out of this new direct route too because it is a great and sustainable option for flying.”

The passengers before had to get down from their trains to run for passport and security checks. With this new route, the same will not happen to provide the passengers with a more comfortable journey.
