Adults have been gobsmacked by a simple logic puzzle that some kids can solve in a matter of seconds.
While the puzzle in question has been circulating the internet for a long time, it recently attracted a lot of attention after allegedly appearing on an entrance exam at a primary school in Hong Kong.
Even though many adults have a hard time getting the answer right, some first-grade students were allegedly able to figure it out in just under 20 seconds.
In the puzzle, a car is seen parked in an unmarked parking space. Your job is to find out what the number of the parking space containing the car is by helping yourself with the numbers painted over nearby parking spaces.
If you’ve already armed yourself with a calculator and hardcore equations, you might want to stop there. The trick in solving the puzzle is not in complicated calculations but in thinking outside the box.
To get to the right answer, you simply have to turn your head upside down to look at the photo from the other angle. To make things easier for you, we have rotated the photo by 180 degrees.
After seeing the puzzle from the other point of view, it is instantly clear that the correct answer is 87, whereas the parking spaces are marked by numbers in the following order: 86, 87, 88, 89, 90, and 91.
