People appreciate anything that makes life simpler for them which is probably why a six-ingredient cob loaf recipe shared by an Australian mom has been taking the Internet by storm.

The woman shared the recipe on Facebook and requires only sour cream, French onion soup, cream cheese, frozen spinach, and cheese.

Pouring the mixture into a loaf, she then microwaved it for one minute before putting it in a Kmart 3-in-1 Air Fryer that costs only $69 and let it cook for five minutes on 180.

She explained that she heated the mixture before putting it in the air fryer to speed up the cooking process.

“I heated the mixture in the microwave so it was only the bread that needed toasting [in the air fryer],” she wrote on Facebook.

She continued: “I also put the pieces of bread in the grill but chucked them in the air fryer for a couple of minutes when I took the cob loaf out.”

But she’s not the only one who found impressive uses for the Kmart air fryer.

Another woman shared her recipe for mini shepherd’s pies.

“We made a heap of the pies for dinner tonight,” Kirsty wrote on Facebook.

“My seven-year-old who loves normal shepherd’s pie initially screwed up his nose and said ‘I’m not eating that.’ We always tell our kids to try new things first and he promptly ate three, and is hoping to have leftovers for lunch tomorrow.”

Kirsty explained that she started by making the “mince mix and mashed potato as normal.”

“I spooned the mix into the taco boats, and then popped them in the Air Fryer for 10 minutes,” Kirsty said.

“The boats came out slightly crunchy and nicely brown on top, they were so yum.

“I already have plans of trying other toppings and fillings,” she continued.

The pies can even be made tastier with some grated cheese on top.

Others also added their own modifications to the recipe.

“Mac and cheese boats with bacon bits on top would be amazing,” one person posted.

“I do salmon with a cream/egg mixture and cheese on top,” another added.

“I’ve made a giant batch of the filling in the slow cooker and freezer it in portions for quick dinners,” one woman posted.

“All I will have to do is scoop into boats and top with mash and cheese and cook in the air fryer for six minutes on busy weeknights.”
