4 Little Girls Defeated Cancer Together and Became Best Friends Forever


Cancer is one of the most dangerous diseases in the world and it does not just affect the body of the patient but also traumatizes them and affects them psychologically.

The numerous treatments and the chemotherapy that a patient has to go through leave visible scars on the body like a bald head, no eyebrows, and a skinny body often.

While it is an awful experience for an adult, let alone its effect on a child.

Ava, McKinley, Lauren, and Chloe were all caught by cancer and the poor girls had to take treatments to get cancer-free.

Although they all had different kinds of cancers, they were all admitted to St. Petersburg, Florida at John Hopkin’s All Children’s Hospital.

John Hopkin’s All Children’s Hospital is a top-rated hospital for children that stand in the best 50 hospitals in the world.

The hospital alone has more than 250 beds in the ICU and has special rooms just for parents of the kids being treated in the hospital.

Ava, McKinley, Lauren, and Chloe were all admitted to the hospital and shared the same dorm room. 

Lauren’s mom, Shawna Glynn, told that her daughter was a little girl who was just three years old when she was diagnosed.

She started losing her hair because of chemotherapy but her mother said that it did not affect her because all her friends looked the same way.

Two years after beating cancer, the girls are still the best of friends.

The nurse that took care of them said “They all were like my own children to me.

They were adorable little girls who loved each other and everyone around them.

They made the room so healthy and happy and all I wanted them was to leave the hospital as soon as they can with perfect health and that is what happened, fortunately.”
