Little Things

Dance is a beautiful art that takes time, patience, and practice, practice, practice to master.

But for those of us who are not professional dancers, it’s still fun for us to join in, move our bodies, and let go to the beat or rhythm of whatever music speaks to us.

For two-year old Georgia, her inspiration comes from dance on the streets of Galway, Ireland.

The toddler spotted Emma O’Sullivan, professional Irish dancer, and decided to add some improvised moves of her own.

Thankfully, someone caught the adorable dance-off on video!

To the best of her ability, which is quite impressive, Georgia tries to mimic the dance movies of Emma. The youngster hops along and kicks her feet out. She is surprisingly talented for a two-year-old!

Amazingly, Emma and Georgia have actually known each other for some time, and Emma has never seen Georgia try to copy her dance moves before. Clearly, Georgia was feeling inspired that day!

Georgia is lucky enough to be surrounded by music and dance. Her father is an Irish musician. Perhaps the constant influence ignited a passion in her. She has some serious potential to become a professional dancer herself.

We could all learn a few lessons from young Georgia. She dared to show off her unpracticed dance moves in front of a crowd of people and the video has gone viral.

Most people I know wouldn’t be so outgoing to jump in front of so many people and perform. But Georgia is unafraid and unashamed to show us her moves.

Hopefully her family will nurture her creative spirit and get her some dance shoes!

Watch the video below and share in the delight of little Georgia. Don’t be afraid if you feel the need to do a little dancing yourself after you watch this.
