Lawyer Couple Pointed Guns At BLM Protesters As They Passed By Their Home


A lawyer couple from an upscale neighborhood has come under fire after pointing their firearm, including an AR-15, at Black Lives Matter protesters that passed by their home.

The incident occurred in Forest Park, St. Louis, where Mark and Patricia McCloskey, both lawyers, walked to the front of their home to confront the protesters that passed by during their demonstration on Sunday evening.

As seen in the photos captured at the time of the protest, the couple were pointing their AR-15 and a handgun at protesters in several instances.

According to NBC News, the couple confronted some three hundred demonstrators who were marching through the wealthy neighborhood in an attempt to reach the home of St. Louis Mayor Lyda Krewson and demand her resignation.

Protests against the mayor started after Krewson released addresses and names of locals who called for the defunding of the police.

Following the backlash, the mayor apologized for disclosing the information and said she didn’t intend to “cause distress.”

“In an effort to be transparent and accessible to the public during the Covid-19 pandemic, for more than three months now I have been doing tri-weekly community updates on Facebook,” Krewson said in a statement.

“Tonight, I would like to apologize for identifying individuals who presented letters to me at City Hall as I was answering a routine question during one of my updates earlier today.

“While this is public information, I did not intend to cause distress or harm to anyone. The post has been removed.”
