‘I Love You, Kobi’ Heartbreaking FINAL Video Of A Baby Before Her Father Took Her Life In A Murder Suicide


A 38-year-old father who strapped his baby girl to his body before jumping to their deaths had threatened to take the life of his daughter and her mother before he committed suicide.

Henry Shepherdson from South Australia frequently shared photos and videos of Kobi on social media.

In a final video, the 9-month-old girl can be seen smiling and laughing as her father spoke to her.

According to reports, Shepherdson was in and out of the court system, threatening to kill or endanger life, and charged with breaching a restraining order.

But on Wednesday, the father of one strapped his daughter to his chest before he jumped from the Whispering Well dam in the Barossa Valley.

Witnesses who watched in horror desperately tried to stop him and others performed CPR on the little girl until paramedics arrived.

Sadly, Kobi was declared dead while the father died on impact.

Shepherdson’s social media was filled with references to his daughter. He even shared a post drawing attention to National Child Protection Week.

He also shared a video of his daughter as he smiled and played in her rocker.

“I love you Kobi,” he told her in the video. “Yes, I do love you Kobi bear, you little cutie… You are so adorable bubba.”

Reports reveal that Shepherdson had a criminal history. On March 19, he last appeared on court for contravening an intervention order set by the court.

Just three weeks earlier, he was in court facing serious offenses, including making threats to endanger a life or kill, false imprisonment, and aggravated assault against his spouse or own child.

Assistant Commissioner Ian Parrott confirmed that the incident was being treated as a murder-suicide.

“We have been involved on some domestic violence incidents in the past and there are court orders in place in relation to the family,” Mr Parrott said.

“It’s resulted in this absolutely tragic outcome.”
