Keeping Up with the Kardashians season 18 premiere was aired on March 26.
Kylie Jenner was seen preparing to debut her Kylie Cosmetics collaboration with Balmain at Paris Fashion Week.
But the 22-year-old beauty mogul gets sick and drops the idea to travel. “I can’t wait, this is going to be so big for Kylie Cosmetics,” says Kylie.
Kris Jenner gets panicked after hearing this and says that she called a family doctor to ensure that Kylie has taken all the medicines. “I’m here in Paris getting ready and set up for the Kylie Cosmetics collab,” Kris said.
“But as we were about to go to the airport, Kylie called me and said she wasn’t feeling well. I called in our family doctor to go to the house and make sure she’s okay and she has any of the medication she might need so she can hop on the plane to get to Paris. I really hope that it’s all going to work out.”
As it was confirmed that Kylie would not be able to make it to the fashion show, Kris calls Kendall to ask if she could take Kylie’s place. “Kylie is still feeling too sick to get on the plane, but the show must go on,” said Kris. “As exciting as it all is, I am very nervous about Olivier [Rousteing] feeling a certain way because Kylie’s not here.”
Kendall refuses to help her mom and says, “Mom, I love you and I’d love to save the day but you know I have work here. I really can’t.”
Kris tries to convince her saying, “I’ll give you a Balmain bag.” Later the-64-year-old calls her daughter Kim and offer her $300,000 in cash and a jet to come to Paris.
Kim says: “My mom is in Paris crying, calling me on the phone going. You need to come to Paris, you need to close the show. Kylie’s sickness has gotten a lot worse so I get why my mom is in panic mode because she’s in Paris trying to figure it all out. If it were me, I’d go on my death bed.”
Kim says that there would be a dispute of interest with her own makeup brand KKW Beauty if she walks for Kylie Cosmetics in the show. But she couldn’t say no to her mom.
Kris texts Kim writing: “Would you consider $300,000 in cash and a jet tonight? God, this feels weird lol. But I’m totally legit.’’
Kim confirms that she doesn’t need a commission but she will take 400k instead. She texts her mother writing, “Okay, she’s upped it, 400k now. I won’t take a commission. The jet can leave tonight. You can bring North.”
Recently, Kylie took to social media to explain the reason for missing Balmain’s Spring 2020 fashion show at Paris Fashion Week last year.
She tweeted: “So as you know, I was getting ready to go to Paris for the Balmain show at Paris Fashion Week for the launch of my makeup collab with Olivier [Rousteing],”
“Unfortunately, I’m really sick and unable to travel. I’m heartbroken to be missing this show, but I know that my amazing team, and my friends who are in town for the event, will help me be there in spirit.”
“For those wondering I never had flu-like symptoms! I had a horrible strep and staph infection in the throat (bleeding from the mouth and all).”
