It is not easy to take care of a baby during a plane journey and people who have ever taken care of a young baby will know just how challenging a task it can be.
One young mother with her baby was aboard a flight to the other side of the world, and she was worried that her baby would disturb the passengers and crew.
So, she handed out some gifts, and her gesture touched everyone on the flight.
Dave Corona was one of the passengers on board the flight from Seoul, South Korea to San Francisco, USA on February 12 this year. The flight had been scheduled for ten hours and there was barely a free seat to be found.
Dave didn’t expect to receive a goodies bag from the boy’s mother. It was a really sweet gesture of her, inside the bag were some Korean candies and earplugs. There was also a note inside the bag and touched everyone’s heart.
The note reads: “Hello, I’m Junwoo and I’m 4 months old. Today I’m going to the U.S. with my mom and grandma to see my aunt. I’m a little bit nervous and scary because it’s my first flight in my life, which means that I may cry or make too much noise.
I will try to go quietly, though I can’t make any promises. Please excuse me. So my mom prepared little goodie bags for you! It has some candies and earplugs. Please use it when it’s too noisy because of me. Enjoy your trip. Thank you. :)”
It surprised all the passengers how the young mother went to such lengths to avoid disturbing others. Dave and the rest of the crew and passengers were impressed.
Dave was a cameraman working for KGO-TV in San Francisco and he took pictures of the goodies bag, the note, and the young mother carrying her baby and shared it on his Facebook account.
The post received a lot of attention and many people praised the young mother.
It’s not an easy task to create over 200 goodies bags for strangers. But this mother did it and we respect her for that.
