Kim Kardashian’s reaction to her ex-husband’s dating rumor has been revealed.
According to a report, Kim wishes the best for her ex-husband, Kanye West, and is totally fine with the latest developments in his love life.
Kim and Kanye were engaged in October 2013 and got married in May 2014 at Fort di Belvedere in Florence, Italy.
Six years later, Kim filed for divorce from Kanye in February 2021 and they are still finalizing the terms of their split.
In June, Kanye and supermodel Irina Shayk, 35, were spotted together celebrating his birthday in France.
An insider told PEOPLE magazine that he had “started pursuing her a few weeks ago” and that they had also spent time together in New York City, where she lives.
A source has told PEOPLE that in the midst of their divorce and co-parenting their four children, Kim supports Kanye’s dating status with Irina.
“Kim is fine with Kanye dating,” the source revealed. “She just wants him to be happy.”
The source added that right now, the kids are the former couple’s main priority and focus.
“Kanye is keeping things amicable with Kim so the kids can be happy,” the source told the magazine. “They have been spending time together as a family.”
Kim and Kanye, who share daughters North, 8, and Chicago, 3, as well as sons Saint, 5, and Psalm, 2, are focused on their kids, the source said.
They ensure that they provide the children with everything they need during this very public transition.
They recently took a family trip to San Francisco over the weekend where they visited a museum. The group visited the Asian Art Museum before opening hours, a museum source told E!.
“They were excited to be there, and everyone seemed to be getting along great between Kim and Kanye,” the source revealed. “They were there for the kids as the museum is a very family-friendly environment, and this specific exhibit brings out the childlike wonder in us all. By all accounts, they were gracious, appreciative, and had a great time!”
The California city just so happens to be the same place where Kanye proposed to Kim at AT&T Park. The two were in agreement over joint legal and physical custody and that neither was contesting the prenup in place.
While co-parenting his kids, Kanye has begun a romance with Russian model Irina Shayk.
Irina and Kanye have known each other long before Bradley Cooper ever entered the picture. In 2010, the model was featured in Kanye’s music video for his song “Power.”
That same year, he name-dropped her in a track called “Christian Dior Denim Flow”. The lyrics read: “I wanna see Irina Shayk next to Doutzen.”
Their visit to France last month for Kanye’s 44th birthday was reportedly a success.
“Kanye is doing well,” the source said. “He had a great trip to France with Irina.”
Irina Shayk has been single ever since she split with actor Bradley Cooper in 2019. The couple was together for four years and they share a four-year-old daughter, Lea De Saine.
As for Kim, a source told PEOPLE last month that she “wants to date,” and “doesn’t see herself being single for the rest of her life.”
