11 Years Old New York Resident Passed Away After the Flu Even After Getting Flu Shots


An 11 years old little boy from New York died after a severe bout with the flu as it sent his heart into a cardiac arrest.

Luca Calanni, the little boy got the virus just a week ago and he told his mother about it.

His mother took him straight to the pediatrician.

The doctor gave him treatment for 3 days.

But even after the treatment, his condition did not improve.

When his mother found out about this, she instantly took him to John R Oishei Children’s Hospital in Buffalo to get fluids injected in his body.

The doctors at the hospital quickly decided to admit him to the hospital and it is then when they found out a septic shock.

But after the fluids, his condition kept getting worse.

The flu slowly deteriorated his body and then reached his heart ultimately causing a cardiac arrest that Luca could not survive.

His family is left devastated and is saying that the baby got vaccination but this was helpful to him.

Regarding this issue, the doctor said that this year’s shots does not perfectly prevent the disease to children.

His mother said that she does not want Luca’s tragedy to just exist on the paper and mean nothing but as a piece of paper with his name written on it for valuable statistics.

She said, “I want people to remember him for who he was.

He was a great kid. He loved meeting people and being kind to them.

I want people to remember him for how he cared for everyone around him.”

The news of Luca ‘s incident comes out as a warning that the disease or the virus is outspread in the US and people should start taking more care of their health.
