A furious KFC customer claims she received raw chicken and has shared photos of her meal online.
She also claims that her complaint was ignored by the fast-food chain for almost a week.
The woman said she bought chicken from a KFC in Townsville suburb of Annandale. When she noticed that her chicken was still raw, she immediately contacted the store.
“The girl on the phone seemed interested and asked me to email photos through and they would call back,” she wrote. “No call back yet and no response.”
The customer then shared the photos of her chicken on Facebook and gained the attention of many internet users with many pledging to boycott the company.
One Facebook user wrote: “Never eating chicken again.”
Another wrote: “I’ve gone off their burgers. Every time the chicken doesn’t taste right.”
A third said: “This is why I will never eat it! This happens all the time.”
Someone else commented: “That is sooo bad I don’t think I want to eat it again.”
Another said: “Name and shame the joint and call in the food inspectors. If they show contempt in your concerns they deserve no leniency.”
