Keith Urban Nailed “To Love Somebody” During Bee Gees Tribute Performance


Country singer Keith Urban showed everybody just how versatile and skilled he is by absolutely crushing the hit song “To Love Somebody” during a Bee Gees tribute performance.

Before he began his performance, Urban revealed that the Bee Gees were a very important and huge inspiration to him. The New Zealand native also revealed that he felt an extra connection with the Gibb brothers because of their proximity as he was growing up.

“They were living about 100 miles from where I grew up with my family and truly, that sort of thing makes your dreams seem a little bit closer,” Urban said.

Apart from Urban, there were also other artists who were present to pay tribute to the legendary Bee Gees during CBS’ “Stayin’ Alive: A Grammy Salute to the Music of the Bee Gees” special broadcast. Demi Lovato, Ed Sheeran, Andra Day, Celine Dion, Kelsea Ballerini, and Thomas Rhett were among the musicians who were present.

Barry and Robin Gibb of the Bee Gees wrote “To Love Somebody” and was released in 1967. It was in the Top 20 in the US music charts soon after its release.
