Keanu Reeves is one of the most down to earth celebrities who do normal things like all of us.
Recently, he was captured eating ice cream in Northern California, where he was filming the next instalment of the Matrix franchise.
The 55-year-old actor posed with a fan also who was extremely delighted to meet Keanu. According to local media, Keanu walked into the store and took a double scoop cone of ice cream for himself.
One of the ice cream parlour employees told TV station KVTU that the staff member who sold Keanu ice cream ‘freaked out after he served him – he didn’t know how to act.’
After getting the ice cream Keanu left a hefty tip and stepped outside, where he was captured by a Twitter user @yahoska___ eating his ice cream.
A staff member at the Baskin-Robbins location told ABC News, “I think he got Pralines and Cream, that was the flavor.”
Martinez said the ice cream looked like vanilla, and she tells NBC Bay Area that Keanu was “super chill” about her asking for a selfie.
“He was really humble,” Martinez said. “Super chill dude.”
Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, Keanu recently shared his enthusiasm about the forthcoming project.
He said: “It’s very ambitious. As it should be!”
He is returning alongside fellow Matrix veteran Carrie-Anne Moss, and writer and director Lana Wachowski.
According to Variety, Lana released a statement that said: “Many of the ideas Lilly and I explored 20 years ago about our reality are even more relevant now. I’m very happy to have these characters back in my life and grateful for another chance to work with my brilliant friends.”
