Keanu Reeves has once again proved that he’s out of this world as he selflessly organized a ‘rescue mission,’ shared a bus, and entertained passengers after they got stranded on an airport following an emergency landing.
The 54-year-old was flying from San Francisco to Los Angeles when the plane landed in Bakersfield, California, due to an emergency.
Since Bakersfield is nearly two hours away from the Burbank Airport, Reeves decided to organize stranded passengers in a group and arrange to have everyone moved to their destination on a bus.
Keanu was caught on camera by several social media users as he was calmly arranging the alternative mode of transport with the airline.
“The people who can unload the bags won’t be here for three hours. The vans will be here in an hour,” Reeves said, suggesting to leave the baggage behind and head to the L.A. via bus.
During their two-hour ride, Reeves not only joined the other passengers but kept on entertaining them by playing local music and reading facts about Bakersfield.
“Its population is about 380,000, making it the 9th most popular city in California, and the 52nd most popular city in the nation,” Keanu was heard saying to calm down the passengers and make the most out of the incident.
After the videos went viral, people couldn’t help but praise the kind actor and applaud him for the way he handled the situation.
“How he stays sane and grounded in an industry full of lunatics and nutcases, I will never understand. The man is a treasure,” someone wrote.
“Never seen a story about Keanu Reeves that hasn’t made me love him a little bit more,” another one said.
One person suggested: “This dude is the real deal! In a world of fake people, it’s amazing to learn Keanu Reeves is a decent down-to-earth person.”
