A fan shared his story and the internet quickly drools over what a kind-hearted actor Keanu Reeves is.
James Dator, SBNation writer shared his story back from 2001 when he was just 16 and working in the box office of the local theater. The story made people believe Reeves is the best human alive.
Dator started, “Reeves was in town as he was working on the Matrix series back then. He then made a stop at the theater for the morning show of From Hell, the Johnny Depp film.
He said “working at the box office is not really a fun job. I was sitting there, all bored up when a man showed up wearing a leather jacket, jeans, and a weird horse riding helmet.”
He said that he was so concentrated in looking at the helmet that it took him 30 seconds to realize it was Reeves standing right in front of him.
He was definitely star struck and did any young teenager would do. He offered him the employee discount in exchange for an autograph. But Reeves was not in a mood of bidding. So he passed his offer.
Dator then charged him the normal price but definitely, Reeves had noticed what Dator wanted.
Dator said “I heard someone knocked on my cabin door, I thought it would be my boss but it was Reeves. He was there to give me a bill of an ice cream he just bought. Well, the bill had his autograph on it. Then I saw him, he went away and the cone in the dustbin.
Yes, he bought the ice cream so that he can have a paper to autograph. I was deeply touched by his kind gesture.”
The story did not take too long to spread all over the internet and people are praising him a lot for the gesture.
