Katy Perry Shows Off Her Postpartum Belly Just Days After Giving Birth


Katy Perry has shown off her postpartum belly just five days after giving birth to her first child with Hollywood actor Orlando Bloom.

In her photo, which comes as MTV made it through its first-ever virtual Video Music Award ceremony, the pop singer poked fun at the red carpet look by donning nothing but a bra, underwear, and exhaustion-styled hair.

“Hair and makeup by: @exhaustion,” the ‘California Gurls’ hitmaker joked in a caption. In two other captions accompanying the photo, she also tagged the makers of her nursing bra and her underwear.

The snap grabbed the attention of internet users on Sunday, five days after Katy gave birth to daughter Daisy Dove. While the singer was unable to attend the VMA herself, she has a long history with the prestige music event.

Just one day after giving birth, the pop singer also celebrated the release of her new album ‘Smile’ which consists of music videos such as Champagne Problems, Cry About it Later, and Tucked.

As the star previously told Billboard, her disco-style song Champagne Problems is dedicated to the relationship she has with Orlando Bloom.

“It’s a song that really talks about how intense it’s gotten and how many things we have had to go through. Yes, we have problems. Everybody has challenges in a relationship. If it’s a real relationship, it’s going to challenge you into your best self,” she said.
