Former glamour model Katie Price is in the middle of a social media controversy after getting slammed by viewers for kissing her disabled son on the lips.
The news came when Katie Price put up an image of herself spending quality time with her 17-year-old son Harvey, which featured a heartfelt kiss on the lips. However, many questioned the mum’s move, referred to it as inappropriate. In the same way, many questioned why the star would behave like that in the first place, slamming her picture as controversial as well as inappropriate too.
Katie gave birth to Harvey in 2002. Harvey’s father is former Aston Villa superstar Dwight Yorke.
In the controversial snap, many get a glimpse of Harvey being kissed by his mother on the lips, as the pair vacations in Turkey. But little did the star anticipate that her share would leave hundreds questioning her personal family moment for all the wrong reasons. Now, her Instagram followers stand divided over the action.
Many followers expressed their dismay and fury over the picture, claiming how unhappy and shocked they were to see her behave like this.
Katie captioned her image with, ‘Me and my Harvey are enjoying the bright sunshine today.’
One of Katie Price’s followers questioned why the star would go to such an extent in the first place by leaving the following remarks, “Why would she be kissing her son on the lips?”

What many failed to acknowledge is how the star was just trying to have some fun with quality time galore, with her kids by her side. The family is currently enjoying their vacation in the land of the Turks abroad.
Thankfully, a few people did come to her rescue by mentioning how this was her son and she had every right to capture her affection towards him and place it on social media. Others also requested viewers to change their mindsets as nothing was wrong with kissing your child on the lips.
