Duchess of Cambridge Invites You To Her Favorite COVID-19 ‘Hold Still’ Photos By Her People


Kate Middleton, known to the world in a more regal manner as The Duchess of Cambridge, wife of Prince William, is acting in her status and influence to gather the best photographs that will accurately portray ‘resilience, bravery and kindness’ of Britons and will ultimately catch  ‘spirit, mood, hopes and fears’ of the nation.

The project is called Hold Still and the show will carry on displaying how those who have worked for the NHS, and the normal citizens who have helped them get it, and these are in tandem with the National Portriat Gallery, in the spirit of community photography. It honors the heroes and the frontline workers who have sacrificed everything for their country, their families and friends.

Kate Middle ton is spearheading the campaign as the patron of the esteemed Gallery, and she herself has displayed her works in amateur photography, and she hopes to capture the essence of the British spirit and the lives of the UK people.point 321 |

She will handpick 100 photographs for the proposed exhibition, where she would display them, hoping they would be a beacon of hope with their ‘incredible’ images which she has apparently been struck by.point 182 | The future Queen consort has put that these images are certain to be an influence unto themselves,  ‘which have given us an insight into the experiences and stories of people – some desperately sad images showing the human tragedy of this pandemic’.point 409 | 1
