Meghan Markle had celebrated her lavish baby shower with her friends in New York but there is another celebration has been planned.
Kate Middleton will be hosting a second baby shower for the mother-to-be in the United Kingdom, Us Weekly has reported.
‘’There is still going to be some sort of private baby-centric event for Meghan’s UK people, and Kate will host,’’ a source told the outlet.
‘’Her glam people and other relatives will be there,’’
‘’Not sure if it’s a total baby “shower,” but you could probably call it that,’’ the royal insider added.
The 37-year-old’s mother Doria was not present on the day of her daughter’s baby shower in the Big Apple as she was in Los Angeles, but she is expected to attend her second celebration in the UK ahead of her first grandchild’s arrival.
There were rumours that The Duchess’ baby shower will take place after she and Prince Harry finished their three-day royal of Morocco on Monday. However, a few days later, Kate and Prince William jetted off to Northern Ireland on Wednesday for a surprise two-day trip.
Reports of Kate and Meghan’s feud may also be temporarily put to rest now that the Duchess of Cambridge is throwing her sister-in-law a baby shower in the U.K.
The rumours of a rift between Kate and Meghan began swirling after news emerged that Meghan and Harry will move away from Kensington Palace to make their home 25 miles away from the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge in Windsor.
However, royal insiders have insisted that there has been no falling out between the Cambridge and the Sussex, but admitted the pair are ‘very different people.’
A source previously told the Daily Mail’s Rebecca English: ‘’While there are some tensions behind the scenes, Kate is pretty unflappable and nothing has become bad enough to make Harry and Meghan want to move out.’’
‘’People are genuinely pleased to see them so happy. The truth is that there simply isn’t enough room at Kensington Palace for them and I know they have been looking at Windsor as a possibility since before the wedding.’’
