Proud mom Kate Middleton dressed in Alexander McQueen for the christening of Prince Louis. The mom of three also wore McQueen (her wedding dress designer) for the christenings of Prince George and Princess Charlotte.
She teamed the ensemble with a very striking hat by Jane Taylor, consisting of a wide cream band trimmed with white flowers. She reportedly paired the look with Jimmy Choo heels and accessorized with white pearl cluster earrings.
She wore a creamy, soft yellow ruffled look for Prince George’s baptism in 2013 and a white coat dress for Princess Charlotte’s in 2015. It’s believed she wore the latter to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s wedding in May.
Princess Kate looked the most elegant for Prince Louis’ big day, which echoed her style choices of christenings past.
The Duke and Duchess were joined by Prince Charles, Camilla, Prince Harry, Meghan Markle, and the Middleton family at Louis’s christening. Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip were notably absent at the event.
This marks Middleton’s first appearance in weeks, as she’s been absent from recent royal events due to maternity leave. The last time she made a public appearance was nearly a month ago at Trooping the Color with the rest of the royal family, and a polo match with her children the following day.
