Kanye West and Kim Kardashian have been rocked by claims that they are getting a divorce.
Multiple sources told Page Six that ‘divorce is imminent’ for the famous couple, with the reality TV star hiring divorce attorney Laura Wasser.
A source reportedly said: “They are keeping it low-key but they are done. Kim has hired Laura Wasser and they are in settlement talks.”
Kim has not been seen wearing her wedding ring while her husband rapper spent the holidays in his Wyoming ranch.
“Kim got Kanye to go up there (Wyoming) so they could live separate lives and quietly get things sorted out to separate and divorce,” the source said. “She’s done.”
The source also said that even though Kim has done a lot to help Kanye deal with his mental health issues, “Now this divorce is happening because Kim has grown up a lot.”
“She is serious about taking the bar exam and becoming a lawyer, she is serious about her prison reform campaign. Meanwhile Kanye is talking about running for president and saying other crazy s–t, and she’s just had enough of it,” the source continued.
Another source says Kanye “is completely over the entire family … He wants nothing to do with them,” adding the rapper found their reality TV show “unbearable.”
In July 2020, West took to Twitter and wrote: “I been trying to get divorced since Kim met with Meek at the Warldolf [sic] for ‘prison reform.’
He also called Kris Jenner ‘Kris Jong-Un’ and claimed the Kardashian family tried to force him into psychiatric treatment.
When Kim celebrated her 40th birthday in October, “He showed up late and left early, he wouldn’t appear in any of their Instagram shots. All he did was bring over the hologram of her father Robert Kardashian, then got out of there as fast as he could,” the source revealed.
Kanye and Kim tied the knot in 2014. They have four children: North, 7, Saint, 5, Chicago, 3, and 19-month-old Psalm.
