Mother Lost Custody Of Her Two Children Because Of Something Most Parents Are Probably Guilty Of Too

When a couple first become parents, they are exhausted because they don’t know what to do about the baby.

Even though they have read books about raising a baby, the reality is definitely different from what books say.

New parents are not used to taking care of their babies but one thing in common for all of the parents is that they want to make sure that children are safe, healthy, and loved.

And although they are not sure about most of the things, there are people around them to ask about what to do with their children.

However, not all parents listen to what people say.

Parents in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire, were taken out of their custody of two children who are both under age of four because they continually ignored the advice.

It’s not an uncommon thing to do for parents. Parents allowed boys to co-sleep in bed with them and social workers had concerns about it after they saw the bruises on kids.

Judge Green said that one of the son’s legs was bruised. The judge believed that it might be unintentional but he believes it was because of excessive force and rough handling by both parents.

The judge also said she was dismissive of professionals and the court heard evidence from social workers that the mother was “continually ignoring their advice against having him in bed with her.”
In addition, one child was unintentionally injured by his father’s use of “excessive force” and the other probably hurt as a result of the “rough, abrupt manner” in which he was handled by his mother.

Professionals were so worried about both boys but more worried about the younger one as the younger boy has bruises and a broken wrist even though he was months old.

The judge actually recognized and admitted that he thinks the mother loves her children and there was no intention to harm them but she was still abusing the boys by sleeping with them.

The problem was that the mother always thinks that she knows the best. And both parents didn’t listen to the professionals’ advice to raise the kids safely.

The ruling has become controversial among parents and professionals. Nevertheless, the judge was concerned for the children and their safety and thought their best option was adoption.
