A judge in Virginia has ordered the return of a religious gym teacher who had been suspended after he refused to make use of transgender pronouns.

The ruling was decided on Tuesday, where the judge ordered the teacher to return back to his respective school duties immediately.

Local media outlets were quick to report Byron ‘Tanner’ Cross who received a suspension, meaning a complete ban from the school’s grounds, after he refused to accept that a biological male could be a female and vice versa. Giving reference to his Christian faith, he added how he would not be making use of the respective transgender pronouns too.

Loudoun County Public Schools meeting was the location where the incident took place, as the teacher strictly refused to obey the commands being put forward in front of him.

The breaking decision was recently granted by Virginia’s 20th Judicial Circuit Judge who was later identified as James E. Plowman.

In his seven-page order, James revealed how the school system should be severely criticized for carrying out the activities that led to the gym teacher’s suspension. Moreover, the fact that it came during a time period that was just three weeks away from the end of the school term, also raised plenty of eyebrows.

“I firmly believe that action of another kind could potentially have been taken through the eyes of the Defendants, that did not necessarily require an act of this form of extreme,” he boldly exclaimed.

Other than that, the judge spoke about how the order in the form of an email blast to the parents of those students attending Leesburg Elementary School was definitely not necessary and appeared to vindictive too, during a time that was so close to the end of the school term.

Just last week, the teacher also sued the school for disciplinary action, adding how the suspension put forward against him violated his rights of the First Amendment.
