Josh Duggar of the reality TV show 19 Kids and Counting was released from jail as he awaits trial on federal child pornography charges.
The 33-year-old is accused of keeping hundreds of child porn photos on his seized computer as well as a video showing children aged from 5 to 10.
He was released from the Washington County Detention Center and will now spend the next couple of months in home detention with his friends.
According to reports, LaCount Reber and his wife Maria agreed to let Duggar stay in their home even though authorities revealed that he kept 200 child porn photos on his computer.
The father-of-six won’t be allowed to go home to his pregnant wife Anna and their kids but he will be allowed to see his children as long as his wife is around.
The accused pedo will also be electronically monitored and must remain with the Rebers until his trial on July 6.
LaCount and Maria told the court that they don’t know Josh very well but they are good friends with his father.
The couple also assured the judge that there was no WiFi at their home.
Duggar’s lawyer Travis Story said he would move in with the Rebers after some required paperwork was completed.
“We’ve got a really good case,” he said.
Judge Cristy Cornstock granted Duggar his freedom before his trial for possession of child pornography.
“It’s not the average defendant who can operate in the black web and partition their computer and bypass sophisticated monitoring devices,” the judge said on Wednesday.
He has pleaded not guilty to possessing and possessing child porn images after he was arrested and charged last week.
