Awkward Moment Joe And Jill Biden’s Confetti Cannon Fails To Work


Joe and Jill Biden shared a laugh as they got themselves involved in a final 2020 gaffe when their confetti cannon refused to go off on-air.

The awkward twist took place as the president-elect and the incoming first lady addressed the nation in a 2020 sendoff on Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve.

During their final speech of the year, the future first couple thanked essential workers for their continuous hard work as they urged fellow Americans to get the Covid-19 jab as soon as they can.

“They did so much, they risked their lives. They’ve done so much for us, and we owe them, we owe them, we owe them,” the president-elect said.

His wife, Dr. Jill Biden, added: “We’re so grateful for everything they did. They left their families and their homes so that we could be safe and all Americans truly appreciate what they did for us.”

After host Ryan Seacrest asked the couple, who both received their first dose of Covid vaccine, about their thoughts on getting the jab, Dr. Biden urged Americans to get inoculated “so we can all be safe.”

“Oh, you have to take it and it doesn’t hurt I promise! So everybody has to take it so we all can be safe,” she insisted.

Concluding their 2020 sendoff, the president-elect then shared a positive message with fellow Americans as he said the country will “come back stronger than before.”

“America can do anything and I’m absolutely, positively confident, confident, that we’re going to come back and come back stronger than before,” he said.

The couple then wished everyone a happy new year before running into problems with their confetti cannon which refused to go off when Jill twisted its core.

Laughing off the gaffe, the incoming first couple signed off as the host jokingly wished for better luck next year.
