Joe Biden Slammed Trump’s Response To Coronavirus Outbreak


Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden has slammed President Donald Trump’s response to coronavirus outbreak and insisted he would do a better job as a president.

Taking to his home town Wilmington to slam his Republican rival, Biden has vowed to be “better prepared” for emergencies such as the coronavirus outbreak when he’s the president.

“When I’m president, we will be better prepared, respond better, and recover better,” he said before accusing the president of “misinformation.”

“Downplaying it being overly dismissive or spreading misinformation is only going to hurt us and further advantage the spread of the disease. But neither should we panic or fall back on xenophobia.”

Biden has also touched the sensitive topic of travel restrictions and suggested that imposing limits “based on favoritism and politics, rather than risk, will be counter-productive.”

During his speech, Biden urged the military and the Federal Emergency Management Agency to act quickly to build “temporary hospitals with hundreds of beds on short notice.”

The Democrat also warned that we should prepare for the worst-case scenario because a vaccine won’t be available for some time.

“I know people are worried. This is going to require a national, a national response,” Biden added.

“We must do whatever it takes, spend whatever it takes to deliver for our families and ensure the stability of our economy.”

The presidential candidate went on to welcome Trump to adopt his action plan which consists of points such as free coronavirus testing, mobile testing sites, temporary hospitals, food aid for families, and the creation of medical professionals’ reserve corps.
