S. Democratic presidential contender Joe Biden has said that his healthcare policy proposals have been stolen by his rival Pete Buttigieg.

Biden, who was campaigning in Iowa, told reporters: “He stole it. What would you have done to me? You’d have torn my ears off. I would be a plagiarizing, no good, old man who did bum bum bum.”

Biden accused Mayor Pete Buttigieg of stealing his plans but he also said that he doesn’t have any negative feelings about him and he feels he is a talented guy.

Biden, who was in Iowa for eight days, said: “Anything I say about Pete will be taken as being a criticism or a negative about Pete, and I don’t have any negative feelings about Pete at all. I think he’s a talented guy.”

When a spokesman for Buttigieg’s campaign was asked about Biden’s comment, the spokesman declined to comment.

Biden is enjoying a lead among Democrats in national polls.

The former Vice President also said he didn’t need Barack Obama’s endorsement in the Democratic primary. He said even if the field were down to three people, he won’t need Barack Obama’s endorsement.

He said: “No, because everyone knows I’m close with him. I don’t need an Obama endorsement.”

When he was asked about another polling leader in Iowa – Warren – Biden said: “Look at the polling everywhere. Tell me. Tell me where the polling has manifested itself. She lives in Massachusetts, she’s invested millions and millions of dollars in New Hampshire, why shouldn’t she be known there?”

Chris Hayden, a Warren campaign spokesman responded on Monday after Biden’s comment. Chris Hayden, a Warren campaign spokesman said: “Our campaign is not on air in New Hampshire, and we didn’t run any TV ads during her 2018 re-election.”
