Jennifer Lopez Paid Homage To Her Iconic 2000 Grammys Gown


Jennifer Lopez paid tribute to her iconic 2000 Grammy Awards dress.

She was captured while going for a family brunch on Sunday in a jungle print tracksuit.

The singer, 50, assured all the attention would be on her as she donned a $1,125 Versace SS/20 jungle-print ‘Muslin’ shirt and matching jeans. She was heading to the members-only Soho Beach House in Miami Beach.

The pop diva’s outfit reminds us of the Italian label’s plunging jungle-print gown she wore 20 years ago at the Grammys.

Jennifer paired her green dress with a pair of white chunky ‘JLo’ sneakers, which may be included in her DSW shoe and bag collection launching March 9. 

The iconic green jungle print was made famous at the 2000 Grammys. The plunging gown grabbed the limelight at the time that it inspired the launch of Google Images.

In September last year, Jennifer revisited the look for Milan Fashion Week. 

The mother-of-two wore a cutaway gown in the jungle print to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the dress.

The singer said she felt the ‘electricity’ in the room as she surprised the celeb-packed FROW with her runway appearance.

JLo talks about Milan’s runway appearance on an episode of This Morning: ‘Donatella and I have had a long relationship and bond over the last 20 years.

Jennifer was accompanied at brunch by her 12-year-old twins Emme and Maximilian Muñiz (with ex-husband #3 Marc Anthony), her fiancé Alex Rodriguez, and his 15-year-old daughter Natasha (with ex-wife Cynthia Scurtis).

Lopez and Rodriguez started dating in May 2017, got engaged on March 9. Reportedly, they are planning on walking down the aisle in a church this year.
