Jennifer Aniston gave a glimpse inside her Bel Air estate to her fans.
She recently spoke to The New York Times about her comeback on television and opened up the doors to the $21 million home she and her ex Justin Theroux used to share together.
The 50-year-old spent two years renovating the property. Nina and Clare Hallworth who are stylists of the actress shared the behind-the-scenes pictures from the shoot on Instagram.
The living room of the house was designed by Jennifer’s longtime decorator Stephen Shadley, includes Midcentury furniture, fine art and a black-and-white color scheme.
The glimpse inside the 1965 picture-perfect home she purchased in 2011 was also posted by Jennifer’s stylist in which she poses with her pooch Clyde atop a gorgeous, white rug. “I’m like a weird dog person, it turns out, like a dog lady,” Aniston jokes during the Times interview.
“I’m entering into what I feel is one of the most creatively fulfilling periods of my life,” Jennifer says in the interview. “Seriously, I’ve been doing this for 30 years and I feel like it’s just about to really bloom.”
In 2018, Jennifer opened up about the design style of her home and said, “Sexy is important, but comfort is essential.”
She picked up the 1965 property in 2011 for $21 million, said the home was initially “the furthest thing from what I wanted.”
Jennifer and Theroux announced their split in February 2018 and the ex-couple had spent two years renovating the property decorating it together with help from Shadley.
Jennifer said: “Justin definitely wanted to be involved, so there was a bit of a learning curve for me on how to include another voice in the design process,”
“For instance, I figured out that immediately saying ‘No!’ to any suggestion is not the most collaborative move.”
“There was a time when I thought there was something romantic about picking up and trotting off somewhere different every three months. Now I’m becoming more particular about the projects I take,
“there’s nowhere else I want to be.”
