An enraged wife stabbed her husband multiple times after seeing pictures of him with a younger woman.
It turned out that the young woman in the photos was her from back then.
The woman, who was identified as Leonora N, has been arrested in Sonora, Mexico, according to Yucatan Magazine.
Leonora reportedly attacked her husband, identified as Juan N, after she found photos of him with a ‘younger woman’ in his phone.
She did not realize that the pictures were of them back when they just started dating, which Juan digitized so he could save them in his phone.
According to reports, Juan was able to explain the photos to his wife after he took the knife away from her. However, he already got stabbed multiple times.
Police officers rushed to the scene after neighbors called and reported shouting from their home. Leonora’s husband was found with multiple knife wounds on his arms and legs.
Leonora was taken into custody and remains in jail pending charges.
According to Dossier Politico, Leonora did not immediately recognize herself as the woman in the photos was thinner, younger, and wearing make-up.
Juan was rushed to a hospital where he received treatment for multiple stab wounds.
One person commented: “Well, he can count those wounds towards any time he might think of straying. Ha! You couldn’t make it up. Seriously though- Dangerous lady.”
Another wrote: “Jealous of herself! She clearly has issues.”
A third added: “the husband still has it on his phone to remind him of the good ol’ days. and that was 200lbs before.”
