Jason Momoa headed to UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh and hanged out with kids in treatment and their parents.
The Aquaman star shared a series of images of his visit to Instagram.
He wrote: ‘’The greatest part of being Aquaman is making children happy spreading aloha had a little time before work to stop by UPMC children’s hospital of Pittsburgh. Met so many brave strong babies all my aloha to the families.’’
In one photo, he can be seen doing arm wrestling challenge with a young man named Joshua. ‘’Me and joshua bet that if he beat me in arm wrestling he gets to have my trident,’ he wrote, then revealing the result of the match. He added: ‘See u onset of Aquaman 2 Joshua. stay [email protected] aloha j.’’
‘If you win, you’re coming. If I win, you’re still coming,’ Jason said before losing the arm-wrestling match to Joshua. He gently rubbed the boy’s belly after their match and agreed that Joshua had bigger muscles.
‘Way bigger. These are fake,’ Jason said with a laugh.
Jason took some free time out from shooting his latest Netflix project, Sweet Girl and decided to put a smile on children’s faces. In the movie, Jason is playing a husband and father seeking justice after his wife’s death.
He is also a producer of the film that will serve as the directorial debut of Brian Andrew Mendoza, who also is a producer.
The hospital was delighted to have Jason there and bringing smiles to the faces of children. It took to social media to thanks Jason for visit and wrote, ‘’Thanks to @prideofgypsies for stopping by this morning to visit the patients and families at UPMC Children’s!’’
This is not the first time when Jason put a smile on children’s faces as he has shared a series of photos from his first time volunteering with the Make-A-Wish foundation in July.
He gave kids a tour of the Warner Bros Studios. He wrote on social media: ‘My first @makeawishamerica I will do this for life.????. ‘Such an amazing day with Eva Eros and Kalice and all the ohana.’
He added: ‘Mahalo Warner bros for setting up an amazing tour for these beautiful children All my aloha j.’
