A senior Iranian adviser to the Supreme Leader has warned the U.
S. to pull out troops stationed in the Middle East or “face another Vietnam.”
Following the US airstrike on Iranian terror chief Qassem Soleimani, Iranian officials have been hell-bent on getting revenge on the States, and, specifically, President Donald Trump who ordered the killing.
Among other threats, Iran has claimed they’ve identified 35 targets crucial to the U.S. within their reach and hinted attacks on the White House.
Iranian officials have also put out an $80 million bounty on President Trump and announced they will no longer adhere to the limits set during the signing of the 2015 nuclear deal.
Now, the Iranian government has warned the U.S. they’re in for bloodshed if American forces aren’t pulled out from the Middle East.
“Americans took a foolish move by assassinating him and they must leave the region. If they do not leave the region, they will face another Vietnam,” Ali Akbar Velayati, a senior adviser to the Iranian Supreme Leader, said.
In a recent turn of events, Iranian presidential adviser Hesameddin Ashena has also hinted potential attacks on Trump’s properties as he shared Forbes’ list of the President’s properties including his golf courses and international hotels.
On the list shared by Ashena, there were all of the president’s N.Y. properties and several international hotels, resorts, and even golf courses in the U.S. and the UK.
President Rouhani’s adviser has also taken to Twitter and claimed that Iran’s “sole problem is Trump.”
“We have ZERO problems with the American people. We even achieved deals with previous US administrations. Our sole problem is Trump. In the event of war, it is he who will bear full responsibility,” Ashena wrote.
Months prior to the assassination of General Qassem Soleimani, Ashena has also promised to “make sure [Trump] stays a one-term President.”
“We have unseated an American President in the past. We can do it again,” he said back in July.
