We live around fashion and we accept it or not, fashion has become a major part of our life.
Be it a board room meeting, a night out with friends, a play date with your kids, or when you are engaged in just everyday stuff, it has become so important to follow the right kind of fashion.
Well, with a load of fashion, comes the pressure to buying new clothes every time you need to go out. It has become a perception for people that you are not allowed to repeat your old clothes.
To fight with same, rather than buying good quality clothing that definitely cost more, people tend to divert towards cheap clothing pieces so they do not fall out of the trend. They fail to understand the basic thing that quality is always better than quantity.
To state that a lot of clothes are not important to live your daily life this young woman took up a challenge and named it “one dress to impress.”
Marina Testino is an Instagram influencer and the young woman has a great number of followers on her Instagram account.
She believed that it is not the numerous different dresses that prove a person beautiful but it is their confidence that does all the work. She desperately wanted people to understand the same and that is how she started the project.
She decided to buy one expensive good quality suit rather than buying too many cheap outfits and wore the same one for about 2 months to see people’s reaction. To her surprise, rather than criticizing her, people actually praised her.
She chose a bright red colored outfit and it proved out great for every occasion and event.
She worked in the outfit, played in the outfit, rested in the same, and even had great parties in the same and it worked like magic for all of them. Obviously, she washed her suit from time to time too.
She said in the end that people did not care what she was wearing until she had confidence on her face and that is the one thing she had never let go.
