A triple amputee war veteran and an immigration activist raised approximately $24 million for building his personal border wall. He then shared several videos portraying illegal immigrants seething into the country.
Brian Kolfage reports that the video recorded pictures of roughly 1,000 immigrants flooding over the border illegally in Sunland Park, New Mexico. This is the place where his project has completed the construction of portions of a border wall.
In one of the videos, the immigrants can be seen crowding around the end of the barrier’s end. In the other, the migrants jump across the border. In the last one, cartel members can be seen with guns walking casually.
The footages, hence, prove that the migrants who wish to get onto the soil of U.S. find a way through the ends of existing border barriers.
Kolfage refused on asking if the videos acted as proof that the wall requires to be built along the entire border to prevent migrants from entering.
He claimed that they prove that the walls work. Therefore, with walls, they can prevent the migrants from stepping onto their country’s soil illegally.
The camera was set up two miles away from where the team of Kolfage built a part of the wall in the border state.
The Air Force veteran is now motivated to construct a donor-funded wall.
Last year, in December, Kolfage started a page named as GoFundMe to get donations for the construction of a wall. Although $5 billion is required to build it, the aim of the page is to reach $1 billion.
A part of the wall was built by the movement of Kolfage in Texas, El Paso, and is currently being constructed in New Mexico, where gaps in the wall allow migrants to cross by easily by foot into the United States.
The project ‘We Build the Wall’ intends to sign an easement that allows a third party, which is not the owner to use a part of the land.
