Incredible photos have emerged showing what appears like a glowing image of Jesus over an Italian town as the sun breaks through the clouds.

The unusual light seems to show an image of Jesus Christ as it burst above the Tyrrhenian Sea.

While at his home, Alfredo Lo Brutto from Italy noticed the spectacular show and captured the breathtaking figure breaking through grey skies above the sea.

The shape created by the light and clouds seems to resemble the renowned Christ the Redeemer statue in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

“I was enchanted by the view. I don’t often share pictures on social media, but when I took this one, I instantly felt like I wanted other people to see it, because it was so beautiful,” Alfredo said.

Internet users were also quick to share their thoughts. One person from the UK said: “Woman say I just want a guy who will love me, you already have. Jesus Loves you so much, he died for you xx.”

Another wrote: “Message to all the people making irreverent comments…..please don’t. As a Christian I find it deeply offensive and it just confirms how low we have sunk as a society when people think it’s okay to mock our Lord. His return IS imminent, all predicted in the Bible so get prepared, repent and turn to Him now.”

A third said: “This would indeed send shivers down anyone’s spine. I always look at these breaks of lights and think how angelic and other worldly they look, beautiful.”
