A man and his husband have been arrested after they castrated a ‘volunteer’ in an illegal gender reassignment surgery.
Thomas Evans Gates, 42, and Bob Lee Allen, 53, performed the surgery on a wooden table in their cabin in Oklahoma where they kept body parts from other victims in a freezer.
According to reports, they found their latest victim on Facebook after Allen posted an advertisement that he performed the surgeries before.
The ‘volunteer’ then drove from Virginia to the couple’s cabin for the illegal gender reassignment surgery, which the 53-year-old said he would perform without any payment.
The victim said that Allen assured him he had already done the surgery numerous times, telling him: “No ER. No morgue.”
For the two-hour surgery, Allen was awake as he had only received injections in and around his private parts.
As soon as the illegal gender reassignment surgery was done, Allen said to him that he would eat his private part.
The victim lost a lot of blood but the cannibal reportedly told him that he would ‘dump him in the woods’ instead of taking him to a hospital.
When they finally decided that the volunteer needed medical attention, they drove him to McAlester Regional Health Center where he told the story to hospital staff.
Authorities searched the cabin and discovered a freezer where Allen kept many testicles. They also found a cabinet full of medical utensils, medications, a cautery tool, xylocaine, mushrooms in pill bottles, and more.
Gates and Allen have been charged with practicing medicine without a license, conspiracy to commit unlicensed surgery-felony, distribution of CDS-including possession with intent to distribute, unlawful use of communication facility, and more.
