This story is filled with sentiments as a 5 months old Pit puppy Jax recovered from a terrible attack as he was allegedly involved in an illegal dog fight.

When the poor little puppy was found with those severe injuries, his face was all swelled up and his head was torn.
But fortunately, with the right care and love, the poor little baby was able to recover and is all happy and joy-full now.
It was May 10th, 2015, when Mother’s Day, Unleashed Pet Rescue responded to an ad from Topeka Facebook Swap & Shop that was asking for help.
They found out that a 5 months old puppy had had severe injuries, had punctures and tears on his head and neck. He wandered around the porch for a bit then collapsed, which is believed to be the result of an illegal dog fight.
The poor baby was in bad shape when he was found. He could not open his eyes, his head had holes, his neck had tears, and his head was swollen. He was taken to the health center where he was kept under supervision.
The owner of Jax never left his side. She used to go to see her every day without a fail and waited long enough for him to get better to take him home. The little fellow is a lucky one to have such a family.
Jax was kept in intensive care for two weeks. He started showing signs of getting better.
He wagged his tail around, started running a little, would go take pets from people, would agree to cuddle any time of the day and his injuries were getting better too.
Causing such severe injuries to an animal is absurd and we should stand against it. Cruelty to animals is the worst thing one can do being a human.
