A 61-year-old man has been charged with throwing his spouse into a river in Utah after they had a heated argument over dinner.
Douglas Harold Green was charged with assault and aggravated kidnapping in the course of committing unlawful detention.
Staff members of the Provo River Resort told authorities that the 61-year-old threw his wife into the river, the Deseret News reported.
Green explained that he threw the love of his life in the river ‘after she refused to do what he asked. The victim claimed she and Douglas were arguing over dinner arrangements. Douglas reportedly became angry and threatened to drown her in the river,” the affidavit stated.
