A husband accidentally ‘spied’ on his family using a nanny cam and confronted her after what he saw.
The man took to Reddit and told that he accidentally ‘spied’ on his family using a nanny cam after he got a notification from the app while he was at work.
He claimed he saw his wife using her tablet while their twin sons were fighting with one another.
What concerned him was his wife was wearing a noise canceling headphones to ignore her three-year-old kids.
The husband decided to talk to his wife that night but again checked the app after a while and what he saw this time concerned him even more.
He wrote on Reddit: “The [boys] were eating unthawed breaded mozzarella sticks from the freezer box while my wife was FaceTiming someone and still wearing her noise cancelling headphones.”
He said it was totally unexpected. He checked older videos and found she always does this when he is not at home.
The husband confronted his wife that night and the wife accused him of spying on her.
He wrote: “I went home and told her I wanted to talk, and said that I’d noticed somehow the cameras were left on and I was worried about her.”
“She got upset with me for looking through a week of videos instead of coming to her right away when I’d noticed the camera was recording when it shouldn’t be.”
She said he should have told her and not spied on her. She stopped talking to him and told him he had no right to spy on her.
The husband asked whether he is wrong for spying on his wife and confronting her later about what he saw.
He said he just felt worried and he had not expected it from her.
He wrote: “She’s so attentive and present when we’re doing stuff as a family, or with family friends around. But it looked like she was 100 percent checked out when she thought nobody would see.”
The post left the Internet divided as some said the husband was wrong for spying on his wife while some said supported him saying he was just worried for his children.
