Female ovaries are prone to cysts and fibrosis that can lead to severe medical conditions.

Out of all the severity that could happen with ovaries, a woman was surviving with a chunk of hair in her ovaries since birth.
The 30years old sought medical assistance after experiencing abdominal pain, and after the diagnosis, it was found that she had cysts in her ovaries followed by a mass of hair.
Gigantic cysts that turned into hundreds of hair were removed from the woman’s ovaries after the surgery.
Surgeons who took out the tangled hair from her body said, some of the hair was even 5 inches long and were growing inside her body since her birth.
The mother of two never recognized that she had chunks of hair stuck in her ovaries.
The unidentified Russian woman only reached out for medical help when she started having severe unexplained abdominal pain.
The Chief doctor of the hospital said the woman had Dermoid cysts that are considered as the non-cancerous tumor of the ovary.
These are in the form of capsules with thick walls consisting of a mixture of several human tissues.
These tissues can be in the form of the upper layer of the skin, hair, bones, fat, and sometimes even teeth.
In this woman’s case, the cyst was made up of hair which the surgeons were able to remove successfully through laparoscopy.
The surgery didn’t affect the reproduction system of the woman.
According to the surgeons, each cyst weighed around four ounces that had been growing into strands of hair in both the ovaries.
The shocking picture of the removed hair was released by the health ministry of Moscow.
After the incident, the health institutes have been conducting awareness drive regarding ovary healthcare.
