There were several concerns expressed by the people of Facebook when Tiffany Renfroe, a photographer and labour and delivery nurse, had first shared her horrifying Halloween photoshoot.
What was the photoshoot about?
Tiffany Renfroe had put her daughter and her husband in makeup to turn them into zombies. A lot of the photos were edited to make it more spooky, but most of it was make up done in real life.
The photoshoot included her baby daughter eating red cake made to look like intestines off of her zombie father, Daniel pretending to be dead, and then later on Daniel had dressed up as Michael from the Halloween movies who carried her daughter away.
How did she do it?
There were questions about Oakley in regards to the gory sight of cake-intestines, but Tiffany reassured everyone she was hardly scare, and in fact, Oakley couldn’t get enough of the cake!
Oakley was not the kind of baby to get scared easily. It seems as though even though Tiffany was initially against it, her children did not seem to get scared by horror movies, rather participating in discussion about props, costumes and make up.
They were also used to the sight of her father wearing the Michael Myers mask for fun. The process of wearing the zombie make up had taken up to two hours, and Oakley perceived it as more of a game than anything.
Reception on Facebook
People were worried that tiffany had placed contact lenses on Oakley, but she revealed that it was simply editing in post, and that the idea of trying to make an 11-year-old wear contacts was hilarious to her.
Facebook also expressed concerns about the shoot being too gory and scary for a child to be involved. However, the positive comments outweighed the negative comments.
People acknowledged and appreciated how much time and effort Tiffany had put into the makeup and props, and how she managed to have the patience to do a photoshoot with a baby. One of the most impressive parts of the shoot was the realistic-looking intestines.
