It’s not easy to be a delivery man.
These people are the ones who work long hours, even at nights and weekends, they constantly have to locate people and carry a lot of boxes, but most people take them for nothing.
Especially during the holidays when everyone spends quality time with their families, the delivery man still has to work.
The holiday season is here and thanks to the smart Internet, our Christmas shopping has become much simpler than it was ten or twenty years ago.
Sadly, this also means that for those who bring your goods to your front door, the season is quite hectic.
During holidays they have to deliver mails and due to occasion, people send gifts to their friends and family which the delivery man has to deliver on time.
These delivery men do not have time to get rest or enjoy holidays however they keep delivering gifts even in extreme cold.
Fortunately, there are people out there who take care of these wonderful elves of Christmas who make our winter holidays as sweet as honey.
One of them is Kathy Ouma, a woman living in Middletown, Delaware, whose recently posted video of a delivery guy from Amazon Prime went viral.
“Every year I leave goodies out,” Kathy Ouma wrote on her Facebook page, the woman who left the goodies out.
You can see the delivery man from Amazon Prime walking up to the front door of the house and seeing the goodie box in the pictures.
Also, the treats came with a note reading: “UPS, USPS, AMAZON, FEDEX — feel free to take certain sweets to enjoy on your way.
Thank you for making it easy to shop on holiday.”
It was a crazy sweet act, and one man was exactly thrilled about it.
After picking both the things like goodies and note delivery man looked pleased and went away after picking the sweets which he liked.
The video was shared last week via Kathy’s Facebook page and has already gone viral, gaining more than 17 million views, 88,000 likes, and more than 12,000 shares.
There’s no question that the selfless act of Kathy now encourages people across the country to do the same as we are already heading towards holidays.
It’s so inspiring to see how small actions like this can make such a big difference.
Clearly the day of this man has been made!
