You never know when your whole life will change around for the better, and this man is the best example.
The man found himself completely homeless and was spending his night in the airport, but now he has managed to change his life around as he is getting training to become an aircraft engineer in the future.
Lawrence claims that he has dreamt about working in the aviation industry, and now it’s going to be his first step towards his dream.
Lawrence had a tough school life and no father figure to guide him or motivate him, which somehow tangled his life overall. He says that he had no role models in his life while growing up, and it has affected his upbringing a lot because he spent more time feeling frustrated than being focused on his education.
The school that he was going in was itself very under-funded, and the teachers didn’t engage much with the students. Lawrence had no one in his life to keep him encouraged or motivated to follow his dreams.
He left his school to pursue his big dream and ended up doing odd jobs to bring in the money. Soon after that, his tenancy also expired, and he had no place to go to.
He started going to friends and family members for overnights stays, and then the places started getting off-limits for him. Lawrence ended up as a cleaner at the airport because he wasn’t able to find anything stable.
He never had a fixed address, and he spent most of his time at the airport. He ended up at a website that raises money for homeless people. He raised £4,449 from 228 members so that he could start with his training to become an aircraft engineer.
The funds will be paid for the courses and for Lawrence to get a good education. We hope that he becomes a fantastic aircraft engineer in the future.
