Although he worked two jobs to support his five-year-olds, there was one thing that he could not provide: a house.

“Basically we were homeless, and sleeping in a car, and every now and then we could go over a siblings house. It bothered me, because I have my daughters, I don’t worry about me..

It’s them that I worry about, because they keep me going, so I wanted to make sure that I could find shelter for them,” said Rollins in his interview with Fox 4 KC News.

Then, something miraculous happened.

Little did he know that the interviewers actually had a different plan in mind.
It turned out that they had already decided to give him the house.

As you can see in the video, Rollins is given the keys, and just stands there in shock.

“Heartwarming, it’s really a blessing,” said Rollins in tears.

This was possible by a project called Constructing Futures House, which was launched in 2008 to help out homeless families by giving them homes.

What they do is to take abandoned houses, transform them into livable places, and give it out for the homeless.
