Christmas as well as the time at which children start insisting on their parents to buy them a new pet is fast approaching.
It’s a sad reality that children become fed up with their pet animals just after spending a few weeks with them. As a consequence, young puppies and kittens have to be abandoned or put to shelters.
In case, you want to make your kid happy with a new pet animal or want to make them wary about little animals on this celebrated event, you must get them ‘Wonky.’
Wonky is a unicorn rabbit, unparalleled in innocence and charm.
Vets at the Milton Keynes and North Bucks RSPCA are currently in search of a suitable family that can give the four-year-old rabbit the attention and affection he deserves.
The rescue home for helpless animals publicized the appeal through their Facebook page, sharing a few sentences about Wonky’s nature and his beautiful pics.
The appeal read: “Wonky is a wonderful white lop-eared rabbit. He’s got the most adorable wonky ear which flops right over his face when he greets you and at other times sticks right up in the air from the center of his head which makes him look like a unicorn!!”
It added: “He loves attention and will happily sit with you while you fuss him. He’s not keen on being lifted though which is usual for a rabbit. Wonky is four years old and will need a large, secure housing set up or an indoor home where he can stretch out.”
It’s not just the white Wonky who is looking for a safe and kind shelter, there are several others of his group too.
Billy, an older rabbit, is also in need of a careful master because he demands continuous attention.
His lovable behavior and the constant call for undivided consideration is what has made him a complete and ‘absolute sweetheart.’
“He is happy being handled and brushed and will need regular grooming. He sometimes suffers from a weepy eye, but this is easily cleaned. He will need a home where he will receive the care and attention required,” the RSPCA said.
Both of the new rabbits, famous for their ‘beautiful multi-colored markings’ are looking forward to their new caretakers.
“They are two years old and have lived together all their lives. Sadly their previous owners could no longer look after them due to a change in circumstances so they are hoping to find a new loving owner very soon,” stated the charity organization.
“They love being outdoors, bouncing around and nibbling the grass.”
