Home Slammed With Closure Order After Tenants Violated Lockdown Orders Over 30 Times


Home has been slammed with a closure order, meaning that no one except its residents are allowed to enter, after people were spotted gathering at the location on numerous occasions.

According to the local reports, the notorious house in Widnes, England, was issued a closure order after the cops were called to the scene over 30 times due to lockdown violations.

As Widnes Police confirmed, the order was secured “following persistent anti-social behavior and breaches of coronavirus regulations.”

“As a result, it’s an offence for anyone other than the tenant to enter it for the next 3 months,” their Twitter announcement read.

The police also insisted that “officers have attended the address in Foster Street on more than 30 occasions, to deal with reports of groups of people gathering inside and outside the house and blighting the community with bad behavior.”

After the unusual closure order, the police constable thanked the people who participated in putting a stop to “unacceptable behavior.”

“The information they supplied was crucial in us gathering the evidence needed to secure the order. We want people to be able to live in their homes without having to suffer from the effects of unacceptable issues at neighboring properties,” Police Constable Ian Prashar said.

“The closure order is another example of our commitment to targeting those who undermine our communities and have a significant detrimental impact on the quality of life of local residents through unacceptable behavior.

Thanks to the closure order, the police can now arrest violators whereas the culprits could face an unlimited fine on top of a 6-month jail sentence.
