A Man Caught Stealing Ice Cream On Live TV


The video of Davis casually stealing an entire ice-cream cone from a person who is preoccupied in his friend’s phone left everyone in splits and went viral on social media.

The hilarious video was tweeted by Carolina Hurricanes fan Brianna Airington has been watched over three million times. In the video, Davis tries to return the cone but he realizes that he may get caught and walks away from there.

The guy whose ice cream had been stolen realizes his holder is empty and look over his shoulder. But the ice cream snatcher has already gone away from the place.

The viral video received mixed reactions from people as some thought the act was staged or real. It turned out the other guy was Davis’ long term friend Joe Campen but the ice cream prank was not planned at all.

One person commented: “Which is hilarious, while also being nasty lol. Imagine that dude getting it back and taking a lick.”

Speaking to The Athletic, Mr Davis said: “Joe and I are good friends.

“He was standing there behind the camera and I just thought I’d mess with him hoping maybe the camera would get a shot of it.”

According to News.au, Campen said that he realized that something was missing from his hands.

“I was just looking at my friend’s phone cause he was showing me a video and this guy took my ice cream,” Campen told the news website. “I didn’t get to lick it yet, I had just got it so at least it was clean. I was friendly about it because I saw him walk off and get me a new one, and we both laughed because it was on TV.”
