We are all trapped inside our homes, daydreaming about the day we will be able to travel again.
However, being home during coronavirus pandemic is an adventure in itself. All it takes is a little bit of creativity and a whole lot of imagination.
Liudas Dapkus, Lithuanian traveller journalist, and writer invited people to take part in a quarantine travel challenge that his colleague Gabriele Staraite came up with.
Basically, in this challenge, people were asked to recreate their best travel pictures in a funny and creative manner from the safety of their homes.
Considering that most of us are sitting at homes, people were quick to take up this new challenge and began posting quarantine versions of their travel photos.
And to make you laugh, we have collected some of the best ones. So scroll down, laugh out loud, and do not forget to upvote your favourite picture.
Some creative minds recreated beautiful city skylines by replacing them with apartment buildings standing at a distance. Others pretended to be enjoying surfboarding on the windowsill.
After seeing Liudas photo with the Koala, we were very interested in finding more about it. He revealed that it was from his trip to Australia, and he has plenty of pictures with the adorable creatures. The picture that he shared in the challenge photo was taken in Queensland in the year 2018.
The first post is of Liudas, where one picture is from 2018, where he was holding a koala in 2018. On the right, he is holding his pet Maine Coon Ceslovas inside his home.
With so many hysterical pictures of quarantine travel challenges, being home does not seem to be all bad. And, we know in the coming days we can expect more of such challenges to keep ourselves entertained while being locked down.
