The funny video has gone viral, where a bulldog got scared and ran away after its mischievous owner cut into a dog-shaped cake.
The footage, filmed in Guangzhou City in southern China, captured the French bulldog as he is looking curiously at the cake’s icing.
But, when he sees his owner cutting the head of the dog with a spoon, he immediately jumps and hides.
The pet who was roaming around the delicious cake suddenly ran away, and he was looking at its owner from another room.
It then settled in its bed, curling up away from its misunderstood owner.
The impressively decorated cake continued to melt in the foreground, becoming much less a twin of the French bulldog.
The footage, taken on Saturday, August 25, ends with the traumatized pup seeking solace in its bed.
It sniffs the top of the white cage briefly before putting its head down for a nap.
